My A6 is in for a "checkup" which didn't end up fun
So when I purchased my A6 I bought it for $14,500 from Selden Motors in West Conshohoken. I purchased it wednesday and brought it in to Tony's Auto repair on sunday so he could check it out.
I get a call today from them and the CV Boot needs to be replaced, the rear brakes need to be replaced, and the oil pan was riveted in so they had to replace that as well because they couldn't get it off (I'm assuming they meant the plug I haven't actually seen the car yet).
So basically Scott from Selden pretty much lied to my face as I even asked him if the car was going to need new brakes after we drove it off the lot. I would argue with him but I'm going to let my mom do it because she is fierce at this type of ****.
Don't buy from Selden Motors... Well we all have to make mistakes at one point so I'm glad I learned this lesson early on instead of later on.

UPDATE: On the phone, Scott (guy from Selden) was very apologetic and said that my mom should fax over a report of everything that had to be replaced and he will cover the bill. I took it back about them being a bad company, at least they owned up.
