Default n75 bad?

so i searched around in the threads and i did find some posts of people having the same problem as me but they all where stage 3 cars. so my a6 is stock and my boost is crazy. it used to hold at 9psi now it hits 15psi then drops to 9 then when i shift it will either hit 5psi or none, and when it does hit the 5psi it will slowly drop off to 0. is this a bad n75? all my boost hoses are less than 6 months old and i have new dv's on. and it never goes into limp mode which i thought was weird, shouldnt it if its not chipped and its hitting 15psi? and lastly if it is a bad n75 can i use the ecs tuning race n75 or vast's MBC that takes place of the n75? thanks

It could be the n75, but if your stock I don't know how likely that is. How many miles on your 2.7t? If you have high mileage I'm thinking it could be a stuck wastegate.

did they blow that early? Vag Com it, and if you don't have a vag com, get one. It will tell you if you need a new n75

im guessing they did i bought the car with 66k on it from the infinity dealership by my place and it seemed fine then when i got a boost gauge it was reading 4psi. well since ive never owned a turbo car or been on the audi forums before i got the car and there was no smoke outta my pipes or anything i thought this was normal and then one day i was just cruzin and i punched it and i got no boost so i got them replaced and the guys at Ptuning said it had a bad oil seal and also i had a few boost leaks in some hoses. but anyway yea i dont have vagcom all i got is a OBDll code reader, eraser but its got some real time diagnostic stuff maybe it could find the prob. is there anything else it could be that i could check in the mean time?

for the cost of a real scan at an Audi dealer..You can just about but a set of 710n's..The upgraded Bosch valve...If you ask me, but I'm no expert, it sounds like it could be the DV's..the best price I found was at this site

Hope this helps you out......

im going to look at my dv's i took my stock ones off to replace with some turbosmart 50/50 valves and the stock ones were perfect when i took them off so i dont think i would have to sets of dv's that are bad plus if i give it half throttle it will hold 5-10 psi all the way to redline just depends on how much i press on the gas. but we will see my new n75 should be here tomorrow but im hoping it comes in today

If the N75 does not work, it will be time to pressurize the wastegate lines individually, and see where they are cracking, also a moderate to large boost leak will cause issues much the same as you are describing
