know where to get one from for a 99 a6q..been looking everywhere with no luck!@

 

You can try Force5Auto.com for used ones.

Other than that, you can try EBay (probably you already did) or you can also take yours off, jot down the part number(s) and start looking at all the online stores that have the "Part Number Search" feature.
Maybe someone with ETKA or ElsaWin can help you with the part number if you can't retrieve yours.
Another option is to register for free at vagcat.com and look up the part number for your car.

Go to the Audi dealer and hold the service reps hand and help him take the time to look it up in the parts schematics. They wont want to do it and you will most likely get the "body shop does all that we dont handle that" type of reply. If you can get them to just give you the part number. Googleing will most likely turn up with the molding.

 

this guy is stripping his 2000 a6, maybe you can get it from him. Its on the 4th page of the A6 forum page
