Need help with plug replacement
Hello,
I am trying to save a few bucks and change the spark plugs on my 2005 A6 3.2. I have the correct plugs, but I have no idea how to remove the coil packs. I do not want to destroy them and I don't want to pay the dealer 238 to replace the plugs either.
Anyone got some advice and or directions/links I could get.
Thanks a bunch and Happy New Year.

I use two narrow screw drivers one on each side to pop them up. Get beneath them not on the ribs. Then before you reconnect them take a small screwdriver or a pick and tighten the female connectors inside the terminal and apply di-electric grease to them then steal your wifes nail file and brush the pins in the coil lightly before re-attaching the terminal. This way you will have a solid connection and won't get misfires when you start it back up.
