My 2010 A6 Sirius trial has ended and I'm having no success in activating this blasted thing. I've read all the forums and tried all the vodoo, (driving around, re-setting MMI, removing keys, opening/locking doors, tuning to FM, hopping on one foot!). A few answers to these questions may help:

The 'contact Sirius' MMI screen has two numbers: Audio and Data listed.

1) Are these ESN numbers and if so, why are there two?
2) Which one should I use to activate the radio?
3) If these are not the ESN, where can I get the number? (There's some box in compartment in left of trunk, but no ESN type numbers on it).

Sirius tech non-support says the sat radio is broken and should be returned to dealer. It was working fine, so it's hard to believe it 'broke' in one month.

Since it's a 2010 audi, it should still be under warranty. Better to take it back to the dealer if Sirius Tech non-support(?) told you it was the radio.

 

Take it to the dealer, its not your problem to fix.
