Just bought a 2003 A6 avant 3.0 And new to the site. Wondering what type of oil I should use my next oil change, they used 5w30. Also wondering if I should up the size of the oil filter to add alittle more oil to the engine, I do this in my 95 3/4 ton GMC. But as I am finding the Audi is a different breen. If i can up the size what do you reccomend? The car has 52k on it.

 

The Audi USA website has a list of approved oils. I would not increase the oil volume, Audis can be very prickly when it comes to oil.
