New Audi 2.7t Owner with questions.

First of all, thanks for all the posts in the pasts. Ive looked through the forums and found alot of usefull info.
I recently purchased a 2000 A6 2.7t with 88k. I have noticed a few problems in the past few weeks. i think i have the solutions to them but just wanted to get second opinions.

1.) Solid yellow ABS light w blinking red brake light. I plan on sending in my ABS ecu to "modulemasters" to get rebuilt.

2.) Unsure of Timing belt being changed... Is there any way of telling? if not, what is a reliable source to get a timing belt kit for a good price?

3.) Coolant temp sensor. Its the black one NOT green one. How possible is it that this is the cause of my engine temp gauge working intermintently?

4.) Bought a fuel filter. Where is it located to replace it?

5.) Spark plugs. Which are the best?

6.) today, i found some oil (not more than a 2-liter cap full) by the "Y" in the intake pipe. Does this mean that the turbo is going? Should i be concerned?

7.) The oil temp gauge on the dash doesnt always work. I havent found any posts on this issue.

8.) Thinking about getting the preferred APR ecu chip, should i be concerned to "blow" any parts on my tired car?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

#1 Do you get 3 beeps? if so, then it's most likely the module.
#2 There might be a sticker under the hood with the timing belt change date. Probably not, though.
#3 Possibly.
#4 Under the right rear passenger side.
#5 I used NGK Iridium, no issues.
Dunno about the rest~

Thanks for your response, i checked the Sticker under the hood and it was empty. Im just going to assume it needs changed. Better to spend $300 now rather then $3,000 later.
And ill probably just send the ABS module in for rebuild, and also Replace engine coolant sensor.

Anyone else have any ideas on my last 3 Questions?

#6 - normal. DOn't worry about it.
#7 - sounds like a sensor.
#8 - Yes. Throttle body boot and recirculation valves. APR, VAST, ECSTuning, among others, can set you up with the improved parts you will need.
