Hey everyone just saying hi. Just bought a 2001 A6 2.7T and I absolutely love it. My other vehicle is a 2007 Jeep JK two door big difference in driving experience! I previously had a 1998 BMW 540i which was great also but the A6 is nicer. Not a racer but love having the power on tap when I want or need it.

 

Welcome. Read the thread on care and feeding of the 2.7T. It's a great vehicle but needs the right maintenance.

 

Hey Spike, that is a great car, but ppgoal said it best, maintenance is a must.

 

I have read the section on tips for new owners and started to sweat a little reading all the posts about the Timing belt!! I will probably have this done first since I have no record of this ever being done.
