new tint and exhaust
 

hey just got my tint done today, the place only had a choice or 20% and 5%..... 5 took the cake. whats the point of paying 250 for 20% tint..... it looks weird cause its still drying... 7 to 10 days. also the new borla exhaust.

haha well i wasnt too thrilled about having to choose between 20 and 5 but its not as bad looking out as i thought it would be. and as for the exhaust.... its are great. i have the resonators in and outside of the car its got a nice little tone but inside the car its no louder then stock... no drone or anything

doesnt look like 5% at all more like 20 % all around I have 35 % on my windshield 20% on my front windows and 5% in rear

well you cant see through it at all, its deffinatly 5%.although the windshield isnt done. i only had a choice between 5 and 20, and 20 is like nothing. why spend the money to put 20 on. the legal rate for all side windows in ny is like 70%.... so either way if a cop is going to give me a ticket it might as well look nice. as for the exhaust.... the mufflers and tips came to like 495 right from borla. and the stainless to attach from the cat back was another couple hundred plus the labor. but my mechanic basically just does it for me for nothing, but its deffinatly worth it, i like it way better then the magnaflows i had on my '01, alot quieter but sounds good, dont know if its cause i did 2 1/4" or left the resonators on or both. will do 2.5" when i go K04


going on the 2nd day and still havent gotten pulled over... doing pretty good :-)
although the sealant around the outer edge of rear window is still bothering me, they said it takes 7-10 days so seal all the way. i really dont feel like driving an hour again to have them redo it. ugh
