Hey Everyone,
I'm in the process of purchasing a 2000 Audi A6 Quattro 2.8!! It only has 27,000 miles and appears to be in GREAT Condition. Is there anything special I need to know about or be aware of... questions to ask before completing the purchase?? WHat are some of the popular modifcations people are doing on these and why??

That's a really pretty ride. With 27k miles, I wouldn't think much would be wrong with it, maybe just check for leaks. Popular mods are wheels, suspension, and brakes. There's not much in the engine mod area for 2.8s, you might find a chip and exhaust for it. PES makes a supercharger but it's not cheap. Good luck with the purchase.

 

Suspension & Exhaust, you'll kill anything in the corners and it'll sound nice

 

the only thing to really look out for are leaking cam seals and valve cover gaskets.
