New member to forum, but been reading for some time very informative. Having issues with above car, started out with misfires on passenger bank had tested and confirmed head gasket. Had it repaired only to find out was a cracked head got replacement head and complete head gaskets done on both bank as well as head job. Drove car for 500 mile mechanic wanted to see and check it out all went good. A few days after white smoke pumping out tail pipes more so out of the drivers side coolant level okay and no milky oil reside in oil filler cap and on dipstick CEL came scanned and has misfires on 4,5 I took it back to shop . Next morning shop owner started car to look at saw same white smoke , checked out cleared codes had car for few days drove around did not see anymore white smoke and could not get CEL to come on did a wet and dry compression check everything with in reason was told for a car with 120,000 on it. ( forgot to mention car runs great no stumbling , hesitation ect..)
I drove it home on Friday parked it in garage next morning started up white smoke and CEL misses on 4,5,6 .......please can anyone help... wondering if it could be bad coils the are the originals already replaced spark
plugs.
Already spent alot of money on car,don't wanna throw to much more ....
