Oil change on 04 A6 1.9 tdi auto
 

Hi all,

I'm sorry if this has been posted a hundred times already but I found
nothing in a search.

What is the procedure for getting the undertray off and where is the
engine oil drain plug.

It's held on with a bunch of silver screws the heads are about 19mm diameter give them about 1 turn and they come right out. There are also some 10mm screws in front of the wheel wells. Once it's off you will see the drain plug.

Thanks Jackmup, but I undid all the screws and bolts i could find and it still would not
come out.

I managed to get the rear half off which I presume reveals the gearbox but could not get
the front half out..... it still appeared to be attached to the wheel arch liners in some way.

I'm sure you already checked for extra srews so try giving it a yank. It may just be a little plastic push pin holding you up. Either it will come loose or you'll find where it's hanging up.
