I have already been approached by two of the service techs at the dealer with the same request.

Well I found one place in my town
that sell Mann filters, so I'm good to go!

Also got a line on a 2003 2.7t with
70k on it. Friends dads car. Perfect
maintance record. Gonna try to convince
my wife she needs it. :-)

yeah, ditch the mini van for a sedan. I don't know anyone with a family who legitimately needs a mini van to get to soccer practice.

Default Oil change

I use Shell Rotella-T6 Synthetic oil 5W-40, Mann Oil Filter,
FilterMax oil filter magnet, http://www.shopfiltermag.com/index.php
5000 mile interval.
The oil is usually dirty by then.

Me Neither. It's all basketball, baseball and hockey. Oh - and some cross country, swimming and volleyball too!

I have 5 kids. The other car is a mini-van - by necessity. That's why I buy older used cars, and why I have to learn to work on them myself. No complaints though. God's been good and I love my family.

Btw - minivans are also great for carpooling and helping people move, and taking a bunch of scouts camping, and things like that.

I don't have any kids, but I'm dead serious when I say I dont know anyone who legitimately needs one. Most of the suvs that people drive aren't much larger than full size sedans and unless you have more than 2 kids idk why you need the extra row of seats.

Once you have kids I bet your opinion on 7 and 8 passenger minivans and suvs changes. I know I can't fit more than 5 people in my A6. Had more than 5 in my wifes SUV on both Saturday and Sunday of this weekend.

yeah there must be something I'm missing. I just know that everyone I know with kids only has 1 or 2 and they have cars that seat 7 or 8. Maybe if I have kids and decide I need something bigger I'll just get a Q7 haha
