The transmission is supper heavy and very treaky getting it out...not an easy job...all exhaust pipes, cross member and related components will have to be disconnected.

 

Hey guys I just got a 2001 2.7 a6. I have the same code p0730.any ideas if it's the transmission.? I have another a6 2.7 and swapped tcu's and no change. Does not move foward or backwards. Any ideas would be appreciated

Same thing here. Same exact symptoms. Start pricing out a Tranny. I went through everything with symptoms still the same, replaced tranny no more issue. I found a used one for 1800 with 42k. This was 2yrs ago.
