passenger door lock No-Go Update and Help needed!

Okay, I just got my wife's A6 back from the dealer. We had that electrical recall done but while I had it there I had the tech look at the passenger side door because it won't lock or unlock with the remote or with the switch on teh inside. the only way to lock or unlock it is manually inside. Anyways, they said that electrical current is present in the door but that the electrical solenoid/actuator is not working.
Question: Does anyone know where I can order this part and are there any DIY instructions for this? It seems pretty straightforward -- pull off the door panel and replace actuator. The stealer wants $312.65 + tax!!!
Any input is much appreciated. Thanks.

UPDATE****

Today, after 5 years of living with this problem, I FINALLY got around to fixing my passenger side door lock problem. I replaced the lock actuator (door latch) with an aftermarket one I found for about $33. Works like a champ and all is well in the universe again. :)

The toughest part of the job was removing and then re-inserting the rod that attaches to the door handle and also removing the weather stripping. It seems like the weather stripping is installed using plastic rivets and on my old 14 year old car they broke off...so my weather stripping kinda hangs there. Oh well.
