Hi, Its my first post!
I have just bought an '05 (last of the old model) A6 Avant 1.9PDI. The car is in silver and in great shape with only 10k mileage. I have added 18' genuine Audi Speedline rims from ebay which are from the new model, added privacy tints to the rear half of the car and had a 185bhp remap to the ECU, plus colour coding to the bits Audi are to mean to do at the factory. To finish off I have just got hold of a front centre armrest in black leather to match the interior.
2 Questions - 1. Any tips on how to fit the armrest?
2. I have discovered a 'missing' problem when accelerating at 70mph +. I had the 1st service done and received the usual feedback of 'we cannot find a fault' .It is definitely there, before and after the remap was done. I eventually took an Audi technician out who could see the fault and it is now on its second trip back to the dealer with software being exchanged to and fro at Audi UK to try and resolve the problem. Any ideas?

BTW the dealer has loaned me a new A4 3.0 TDI Quattro S-Line. My God does it go!! And yet returns 40mpg!
