Will the "xtreme white" fit my 96a6. I've been told that alot of aftermarket bulbs will burn the audi wires and what not. The wattage says "55W (Output brightness = 110W) - 4000K". When i check on the sylvania site that says what type bulbs must be used, it says H1 55w. I just don't want to start destroying this car.

 

Don't worry about it; PIAA is a top quality bulb manufacturer. Years ago I was told the same thing about wires being damaged. 55w is 55w, years later and still no wire damage.
