Default Pinch protection?

I own a 2005 Audi A6 Avant, and went out to it this morning to find all the windows down. There were some scratch marks on the crome around the window, on the driver door that were not there the last time I used the car. The thing is the alarm did not sound, and nothing is missing from the car. (wasn't much to take inside to be honest) I have read the manual again, and also searched the net, with no luck as to an explanation. Found several items on "pinch protection", but none of which described how this works exactly. Would be surprised if the windows lower when someone is trying to break into the car.[sm=smiley13.gif]

Default RE: Pinch protection?

Pinch protection is just a feature of the one touch window system. It prevents crushing of items or limps that are in path of window when the one touch up is used. The window will return back down when resistance occures.
