With only 30,000 miles or so since my last t-belt service, Blauparts "ENHANCED" spring loaded tensioner/dampener failed and now I have to shell out hundreds to have all this **** ripped apart again. Luckily, I heard the loose belt flapping while it was idling in my driveway and my engine didnt seize up. My mechanic who did the work knows what he is doing and that was not the issue here. I havent even contacted them but I probably shouldnt even bother because at best, they'll only send me a new one, or a refund of the tensioner cost...Either they sell **** products or I just have bad luck...ANyone else had bad luck with their products?

(just checked after posting this and saw how many people had problems with Blauparts crap...Guess I'll have everything replaced??waterpump, thermostat ect...ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR GOOD PBRANDS WOULD BE A GREAT HELP...

A lot of us have had great experiences with the kits from FCP Groton, myself included. The kits cost less than Blauparts and include quality pieces - Gates or Continental belts, metal impeller water pumps, etc. Look into those.
