Default PO306 and PO206 codes detected

I have an 2003 A6 2.7T. Started a new thread since I couldn't find one on the PO206 code. Short story is I had the secondary water pump replaced and when I got the car back, the check engine light started to flash and the car would shake when I accelerated. This was not happening before the secondary water pump was replaced. I've read about the faulty spark plug, wire, coil and leaking gasket. Is it very possible that one or more of these thing were just not put back in properly?

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks,
Alvin

Default Update on shaking, rattling while rolling LOL!

Replaced all 6 spark plugs but CEL is still on and car is still shaking but not as bad. Able to get to 55 before the car starts to shake. We switch coils from one plug to another but no change. It seems to be the injector for plug number 6 which sort of verifies the two codes that we got when we plugged the car in for diagnostics. Somehow, this seems to have gone bad during the time that the secondary water punp was leaking. Bear in mind that the secondary water pump is what delivers coolant to the fuel injection system (or something like that). Will update after the injector is replaced.

Might just be o-rings on the injectors. There are 2 on each. If they are leaking, you may hear the sound of an air leak (un-metered air being sucked into the cyl). If you are replacing the injector, take the extra 5 minutes to replace all the o-rings anyway. Most of mine were leaking to some extent.

Do you read the DTC with VAG scanner?

Replacement of the Secondary A pump requires disassembling the intake manifold - you might experience results of a bad workmanship - read the codes - there would be no surprise if the codes are related to the drivers side bank.

Looks like fat fingers to me as the air pump doesn't require the disassembly of the intake manifold.

Sorry,

The post is for the secondary water pump - I erroneously sited the secondary air pump, thinking about the SWP.
