Why are their blue words with pop up attached to them in the posts. Are the people replying putting them their or is it an outside source. Is their any way this advertising can be blocked from the forums.

 

Those links (not really popups) are from the forum itself (not the poster). They are the means by which the people that run this forum can generate enough money to keep it running. Necessary evil. No way to turn off (that I know of).
