prefacelift into facelift model
 

ok i have the prefacelift model of the a6 and i was wondering if can fit the hood and grillof the facelift models onto mine?
and have you known anyone who did this before?

Are you asking about a C5 or a C6?

You would have to get fenders, headlights, hood, grille, and bumper for the facelift...it would be a lot of work.

whats the diff. between the C5 and the C6

C5 is the Audi model designation for MYs 98-04, C6 covers 05 to present. Rumor has it that the C6 is receiving a facelift for 08 and sites such as Madaudi are selling the facelift kits. But I still don't know which model JJ is talking about.

I would assume he's talking about the C5 facelift since he has a prefacelift model.

I am not so sure because the C6 facelift kit is already available at Mad Audi.
