Random oil loss

So the other night I was out drifting in my 2000 A6 Quattro with the 2.8 30v. Came around a downhill bend a bit fast and hit a snow bank, I will admit it was a nice whack but nothing damaged noticeably besides my fog light wires got ripped but here’s the weird part...2 days later I smelt burning oil and 5 miles later my oil light came on and I was out of oil. Whole front drivers corner of my bay was slathered in oil but filled it up and it hasn’t leaked a drop since. Any ideas? It’s never leaked or burned oil before and shortly after, I went to start my car and heard(what I believe) was a bad lifter tick but it quickly went away and again, no oil leakage since...please help😩

not sure what 'dog lights' are? anyway, is there a possibility the oil came out the top of the dipstick? a heavy impact means everything keeps moving and hot oil will find its least resistance quickly.....- just a thought

Fog lights, sorry. And no because it was fine until suddenly it wasn’t. I’m thinking something like cam seals but it was a fast sudden oil loss and I’ve never leaked a drop(248k miles). Been like 2 weeks and hasn’t leaked a drop since

ah - fog lights! I was thinking it was an American term I hadn't come across yet:) As for your oil, that is a mystery - sorry no more idea's from me. Good luck...
