When i hit a crack in the road or go over a bump, i hear some sort of metal rattle from the back of my car. I found the source of it, it is the shielding behind the rotor. When you hit the wheel or like i said go over a bump it rattles. But if im holding it in place it wont make a sound. Took the wheel off and tryed to see if it can be tightened or anything and I couldnt find anything. So I tried bending the shielding back a little to see if it would make the same noise, and it didnt change.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, if you did what did you do to fix it.

if not i was wondering what harm can be done by removing the plate all together

could be anti roll bar/sway barbushes or suspension spring broke at the pig tail

 

could it be on both sides? because both sides are rattling
