I’ve already posted that issue, but still don’t have any solutions. My rear brake light and a turn signal stop working in a few minutes after I start driving.
Here is what‘s happening. I may drive for an hour or just for a few minutes and the rear brake indicator warning gets on, the rear turn signal stops working also. I stop the engine, crank it back again and everything is working for another few minutes. I checked the circuit, brake switch, fuses and they are okay. Can it be a computer issue? Cause, again, it works after I turn the ignition off and back on. (but only for a few minutes and then it beeps again )

If it's turning on a MIL pull the codes either free at autozone etc. or with a vagcom. See what that tells you.

Your control modual could be messed up.
hear that is common in 98-01 when I was researching them but I thought the problem caused the Antilock brakes to stop working.

NO BLOWN FUSES?
If so. You may have a short. Burnt or pinched wire that is heating up as you use it.

 

Agreed... Not sure about your car, but I think it goes from the right rear to the left rear over and around the hood latch. Apparently there are shorts that can develop there.

The light bulb itself could also do this.. good cold, bad hot.

 

Sorry, I did not mention the model. It is a 2006 A6.
All bulbs are okay, I replaced the whole tail lifgt assembly and the result was the same. I don't think there is a short or cold/hot issue. When I turn it off and instantly on the light is working.
