Hello all, 1st post

I bought my first c5 Allroad (2004) in november, my first car with heated seats (Recaro leather sports seat option)

Although nice to have the heat in the winter, it seems the heated part of the drivers seat is always on! I've left the dial at 0 for the last 2 days and I'm still getting a hot back.

Interestingly even in the winter I can only have it set to 2 out of 6 on the dial as anything over that seems to burn my back!

The passenger side seems fine, in fact my partner often needs that turned up to 5 or 6 to feel the heat.

Do you think I have a faulty climatronic control panel? I'm worried about simply removing the 30 amp fuse (#44 - Auxiliary heater relay, Solar cells isolation relay 2, Heated driver's seat regulator, Heated front passenger's seat regulator, Heated rear left seat switch with regulator,Heated rear right seat switch with regulator) in case it affects anything else.
