Redline synthetic ATF

Redline synthetic ATF
Has anyone used this before? I did a search and found a couple of threads discussing it's use, but none where anyone said they replaced their fluid with Redline.
I ask because I have about 4 bottles of Redline ATF where I was going to replace the fluid on a previous vehicle and ended up selling the car before ever getting around to it. I also have a hand pump already so no need for the one in the blauparts kit...
Thanks

go over e46fanatics.com and search over there for redline. The e46 (99-05 3 series) from 00-03 used the same transmission as us (5hp19), just a rwd version. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZF_5HP19_transmission
It's not uncommon to use redline in the transmission of the BMW. Audi owners tend to be more uptight and get all freaked out with anything other than OEM fluid. BMW owners are more willing to experiment, they're also aware the fluid needs to be changed once in a while. That's because BMW's owner's manual says to change the fluid every 100k.
We have a e46 BMW, and my A6 both have generic esso fluid in them. Mines been that way for ~50k and our 3 series maybe 10k. The only fluid I would stay away from is Mobile 1 ATF, no personal experience, but e46 owners complain of harsh shifts and noise.

Awesome, thanks Jeffla...that's exactly what I was looking for.
on a side note...if the bimmer uses the same trans...could one swap to a bimmer trans and make a rwd audi...rather than awd? just a wild thought. for some reason I have it stuck in my head to do a ls1 swap into a e36 bimmer...
