A few problems with my 95 A6 2.8L (lighting, vibration)
Hey hows it going im new to the forum and im already hooked. Here is what im dealing with
recently my car has been having some lighting issues. When i turn the lights on my passenger side orange (front) and red (back) driving lights do not work so I orginally figured that my lights bulbs where out then i turned on my blinkers and they work fine same thing when i use my hazards. So i took a look in the fuse panel and noticed that there was a fuse blown looked it up on the fuse directory and what do ya know its fuse 5/5 which right side light right and right side tail light. So i some new fuses and shut the car off plug the fuse in turn the car on and turn the lights on and the fuse spark and blows everytime. I tried this 3 or 4 times and the fuse blows everytime. So what i need to know if this is an issue with electrical system that i will need to take to the mechanic or if i am doing something wrong. Hopefully someone out there has had similar issue. Thanks for any help ive posted pics to help the problem
The issue of virbation happens when i get the car above 80mph and take a left turn the car begins to wobble from what feels like the front right tire. So i figured maybe the tired needed to be balanced, so I went and got that done and still the same issues. The car always ran fine at 80 or above before i got my water pump and timing belt changed could this be an issue of the mechanic not putting something back right? What else can cause this vibration at high speed?

RE: A few problems with my 95 A6 2.8L (lighting, vibration)
Theres definatly a short somewhere in the system. Since the fuse doesnt blow right away (but after the switch is turned on)it has to be somewhere between the switch and the bulbs. Try unplugging the connector from the light bulb panel. If the fuse doesnt blow when you turn the switch on you have an issue with the panel itself or the bulbs. Otherwise you have a short somewhere between the switch and the panel.
