RETROFIT?? Wrecked 2.7t front end
I'm wondering what the possibilities are in the way of replacing my wrecked '00 parts with newer, fresher
facelift parts.
Items such as lights, fenders, hood, bumper, etc...(ever noticed how many people put "ect.."??)
Anyway, I searched under retrofit, hood, fenders with no luck.
minor tweaking would be acceptable.
Thanks

That would be an awful lot of work for appearance. It would require a new hood, front bumper, headlights, foglights, and front quarter panels, among some other smaller bits and pieces. When my 2001 2.7T got into a fender bender, I looked into doing the facelifted front, as insurance was paying the bill for the repairs anyway. However, one of my front quarters was perfeclty fine, as was one of the headlamps. The cost and labor to replace those perfectly fine parts was just a bit too much for me to swallow.
It is not worth it unless you have to replace those parts listed above anyway due to damage. Otehrwise, your funds can be put to better use elsewhere (like suspension, wheels, orbrakes)

That is interesting, I too have one good fender and headlight.
Problem is, I grow tired of same old things and would really like to take this opportunity to freshen it up.
Would you please expound on your experience.
I'm sure you learned quite a bit while researching.

go to lltek.com look at their new style audi rs grill for the facelifted c5 a6.... i'm pretty sure all you'd need is some facelifted fenders, headlights, and then the kit from lltek.com including the bumper support, etc.
it would look pretttty sick.
