didn't this car belong to someone on this forum? i remember a guy in the chicago land area throwing a bunch of rs6 parts on a 4.2 it's pretty sweet and im interested, can anyone assist????

Yea thatcar was from the chicago burbs. I believe the old owner sold it about a year ago.

 

Yes, it belonged to carbonLORD from the AudiWorld forums. Great car, the guy babied that sucker. We called it the A6 "ultrasport" with all the RS6 stuff he added (front bumper, sideskirts, exhaust, carbon fiber trim, wheels). He never did the rear bumper, nor did he do the rear spoiler.

Car is lowered with H&R coilovers. Tranny was redone (under warranty) and the front-end was courtesy of someone else's insurance (there was cosmetic damage ONLY), so on someone else's dime he did the RS6 conversion. Sold it on consignment a few months back for quite a bit more than the craiglist asking price and landed in a MK2 TT.

Makes me wonder why it is selling for such short money now...odd...

 

im gonna check it out...but yes i too wonder why so low of a price. i believe he also had it on ebay for considerable more money
