does anyone know if the general S4 turbo upgrades for the 2.7t engine work for the A6 model with the same engine? i would appreciate your help!!

yes you can do a K04 upgrade on the A6 if it is a stick the auto tranny can not hold that much power

I've also heard of people upgrading the stock clutch if you're going to go Stage III. Certainly less expensive than a tranny upgrade, but a consideration.

i am considering buying an 00 a6 2.7t and was looking on upgrades besides the general; chip and exhaust.
so my questions are: are the k04s a direct bolt on? are there any companies that make chips for the a6 with the k04 upgrade in mind?what would the expect hp output be with a k04 upgrade, exhaust, chip,injectors, and intercooler be?and would anything else be needed besides new dv valves with a turbo upgrade.

thanks in advance....i'm debating between the 2.7t a6 and the 1.8t a4 and aftermarket is a big deciding factor.
