Not on the 3.0 you can't pull fans out without moving the front end out.

Oh, and you'll either need a long wrench or a 18" breaker bar with a socket. Makes life a LOT easier when you have to put the belt back on, as it takes a decent amount of force to get the tensioner in position.

Overall, it's not a bad job. Rates one scraped knuckle on the scale.
