Shifting issue at startup

Shifting issue at startup
My A6 seems to have a problem shifting at startup (when engine is cold).
I will have to reach the 3000rpm to have it shift (actually it's 'bucking') into 2nd gear the first time after startup, then it seems to be fine.
I have an appointment to take it to the shop monday, but anyone would have a clue of what it can be?
Thanks

My audi and F250 do the same thing. It is to help warm up the trans like bob martin said. I've found that getting the rpms up a little over 2K and then letting off the gas will cause the trans to shift up to 2nd. It doesn't hurt anything to have it run up like that but don't drive the car hard while it's still warming up.

I don't drive it hard, the problem really is leaving a parking spot you have to go up to 3K or it's not shifting in 2nd.
But I'll try your advices tomorrow, see if it helps.
Thanks for the feedback guys
Edit: Alright so this morning I started the car and let it warm about a min before driving away, it shifted better, so it seems to help. I think I'll still take it to the shop so they can have a look at it just in case.

Things you can do that will help.
Use tiptronic (DUH) lol
Turn off car after cold start and restart car.
Leave car idling for 5 mins. * not recommended but it's your car and will stop the delayed shift.

Like budhani786 said, the guys at the shop tried my car and said it was ok, no issue.
I also took it to another shop (to do the timing belt), and they tried it also, didn't notice anything wrong.
My car will need the 80Kmiles, I'll take it in January I think, we'll see if they say something.

Tranny prolly.
I too it to a shop as well. My issue might not be the same
Though. I have a weird stutter or bucking when my car is cold. No lights, everything seems to be working but I have lost gas mileage and also have a buck. The shop said they think its transmission issue. I have cleaned the throttle body, replaced maf, ECT, fuel filter, and pumped some Bg tranny cleaner in. After pumping some in, the buck slightly decreased. I'm goon to do a full flush and see what happens.
