Default Sirius and Navigation question

I am currently looking at 2 A6's to buy as a daily driver.

Both are 2.7T's ones an 02 the other an 03.

Neither of them have nav, my question is, is it very hard to retrofit the audi nav? I know on my BMW its a pain if you didnt get it from the factory you have to basically rewire the whole car.

Secondly, I know the new A3/4/6 you can get sirius from the factory, can that be retrofitted to an 02/03?

I like things on the interior to look OEM, I know it may be easier/cheaper to go aftermarket with it, but I like clean lines. It cost me more to get the BMW Sirius kit, but I like it so much better then having an external device.

Looking to pick one of the A6's up soon (before the winter gets to bad). Any help would be appreciated. THanks!

Default RE: Sirius and Navigation question

the upgrade is very easy. See this post of mine....and the embedded links.
http://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/579233.phtml

The navigation unit / complete package is about $1500...then you can add the OEM Sirius or XM tuner for about $400 more. This is applicable mostly to 2000-2004 A6's. It's best if you buy a 2002+ A6 as the install is a bit simpler.

Feel free to send me an email if you have a question. I can put you in touch with a US-based broker for the RNS-E package.

Happy reading!
