So I have a 1999 Audi A6 Quattro 2.8L and this noise just seemed to appear to start coming, and I'm not sure what it is.. I thought it was the oil pan at first, but I'm not sure, if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Since I really can't describe the noise, I attached a .zip file with a video clip of how it sounds(video is a .mp4). You could use Quicktime to open it or even Nero's little DVD Program.

 

to better serve you, you must try to describe the noise. its a little discouraging to try opening this files at times.
