So I recently bought my new 2013 Audi A6 3.0 and the car is great. My only concern is the engine. It's incredibly hot. I figured maybe its because it's supercharged/powerful. So I kept it parked and turned the A/C off yet the car was still hot. Is this an issue? Also the Stop/Stop feature doesn't work. I tried to drive in my neighborhood and stopped on the side for a while to see if it would turn off and it did not. I pressed the button once again and same thing, the engine did not turn off. When I keep the function on I get an A with a circle around it with a line crossing it out on the instrument cluster. Any ideas? Im not sure on the Engine running hot. You may want to have the dealer look at that. In regards to the start/stop feature. After turning the feature on or off, you must restart the engine for the change to take affect. I f the button light is on in the console under the media screen, then the start/stop feature is turned off.

 

Also, if the climate control is on and the car is hot it may not shut off the engine in order to keep the AC running. This should be explained in the manual.
