Default Spacers

I have a 2001 A6 2.7T

The car needs new tires and the stock rims are scratched from the previous owner. I wanted to buy these rims, but when I spoke to a dealer he said I'd need spacers but didn't know how big.

So what I am really asking is will I actually need spacers? and would my local tire shop be able to install these rims with new tires?

Thanks for the help!

Default RE: Spacers

The first thing I noticed is the wheels are 5X100. Our cars are 5X112, so you will need a wheel adaptor/spacer to convert your bolt pattern to 5X100.You will also need to know the wheels offset to determine how big of an adaptor you will need. The 5X100 bolt pattern are on all VW's (to my best recollection)and the Audi TT.
