Default Sport Suspension

I recently drove the new (2008) A6 (3.2 Quattro) with the standard suspension but could not find the color/options I wanted at the dealership. A car is "in transit" to the dealership with all the options I want but also with the "sport suspension" option. I'd like to reserve the car for purchase but without driving the car I'm concerned that the sport suspension may be too harsh. I'm assuming that the sport susension because of it relatively low cost ($500) is simply different shocks. Any insight/experience with the sport suspension option on the 3.2 Quattro would be appreciated.

Factory sport suspension always makes the car look much better in my opinion. And for a car the size of the A6 I don't think that they are going to make the sport suspension too stiff becuase when people are shopping for a A6 they generally want a smooth ride. I think that it will be fine, but if you are particularly picky maybe you will want to test drive it first. Good luck!
