Spring creaking
 

Hey I got some growing creaking sound in front left side of my car. It appears to come from a little eletronical square unit that is attached to the axle carrier. Anyone knows what the name of this part is?
My car is an Audi a6 2,4l 164hp 1999.

Could be any number of things from a sway bar end link, tie rod end or one of the ball joints. I suspect one of them has a "tight" ball/socket and it creaks when moving.

By "tight" I mean all the lubricant is gone and it's running dry.
