Standard Navigation System Audi A6
Hey Guys, Excited to finally being able to be part of the Audi Family!
I am about to purchase an 2014 Audi A6 in the near future and was looking into at the navigation system with Google. Now I really don't know how to explain what I am trying to ask but I will try my best. I know I will get a 6 month trial to the google maps services and all, but I was wondering how the navigation will change after the 6 month trial is up. While I test drove the vehicle I noticed on the dashboard it showed the next exit coming up and which gas stations etc. were on that exit. I was wondering if that was part of the google navigation or the standard navigation which I will revert to after the 6 month trial. A video or something of how the navigation is and what will show on the dashboard as driving would also be helpful but I have failed in locating one.
Thanks to anyone who might be able to decipher my question. I hope this made sense to someone atleast haha.

I have a 2012 A6 which came with a 6 month free trial of "connectivity" through T-Mobile. The Google search was a very nice feature. As far as navigation, the "3D" Google maps display was flashy but not particularly useful. With Google turned off, the display looks like any other 2D map. You can try it now (by turning off the network connection) to see what it looks like. I think I'd have continued the service for the search function, but the price is ridiculously high ($30/month).
I see, in the dashboard does it still display what is coming up on the next exit like which gas stations and such after the 6 month trial? I really liked that feature of the navigation. Like it would tell you how far the next exit is and what all is on it.
