Default Suspension - springs or shocks + springs

Hey guys - it's time for me to upgrade (and lower) my 2.7t. I think I'm gopnna go with the H&R sport springs - should I get the shocks also. I drive somewhat aggressive, but not too crazy. I plan on upgrading wheels to 17's soon also - currently stock 16's. Thoughts, suggestions, recommendations? Thanks, Charlie

Well... It is always recommended that you upgrade the shocks when using lowering or sport springs. The reason is because with the more aggressive rates on the springs it could lead to a bouncy ride on the stock "softer" shocks..

I have Audi A6 with sport package ( 225-45-R17 and sport suspension). On my experience, if you want upgrade to 17", go with 235-45-R17.
