First off, I have a 1996 A6 Quattro.

I replaced the fuel pump last week, and when doing so I realized the in-tank fuel line needed to be replaced. Since I needed to get back home (6 hour drive from where I was. . . and of course it was a Sunday so I couldn't get the parts at the time) I kept it in there. I was wondering what the hose size is, and what I need to make a new one (I know I need a nipple and the fuel line, but I'm not sure about the size for either).

The hose was crimped onto the fuel pump and then goes into a metal piece that screws into the sender.
