Default Which TBB's retain stock engine cover?

I did search, and I've read some conflicting opinons on this. Im just looking for everyone to weigh in with final opinons.
I saw a link to the VAST TBB, but the link now says "product not found". I've heard Samco can have fitment/boost sensor/slipping issues, but I know alot of people run it...
Can I get some opinons and facts on which TBB's retain the stock cover and which one's people like?
Just TBB's, no bi-pipes ...
Thanks!

I'm running Samco and my stock cover. No problems for 44k with the GIAC, Bailey's, or Samco.

really? Did you ever have any problems with that Samco slipping off/not tightening securely? Which clamps did you use?
I've heard several people say the stock cover doesn't fit - did yu have to modify or forcr anything to fit?
Thanks~

Most guys are running SAMCO TBB without issues.
I personally have an APR Bipipe but you don't want to hear about it

I know, I know, the bi-pipes are great!
I'm looking at TBB's for the basic function while keeping costs down, as I want to do ECU, TCU, TBB, DV and piggies all at the same time... And an easier/quicker install, too

nice upgrades in one shot... you're lookin to spend mucho dinero it seems For the TCU, don't do GIAC's, go with VASTS... actually for all the mods above I would get them all from them... (VAST Piggies, Tip Chip, ECU tune, TBB)... for DVs just get 710's form the TT.
how much you spending 1500-1800?

I had started another thread on here about buying an 02 M% vs. keeping and modding the 2.7T. Well, I made my mind up! Stage 2 it is!
I had 2K set aside to put toward the M5, so I'm just gonna use that for stage 2
I hear the install of the piggies can be pricey, so I might go over the 2K after I pay for the install, but parts-wise, I should be around $1600, depending on which TBB I go with...
I think I'm gonna go APR for the chip, as I have a local dealer whom I can go back to with any problems/issues, but I'm gonna go to VAST for everything else!
By the way, why are you selling your car?

i'd get the M5... such a sweet ride out of the box! Handles great too. Sure you'll lose the AWD but man it is so fun

I'd maybe go M5 personally, even though I like my A6.

m5 for sure. Faster even after above mods, lighter, nimble, will handle better but watch out in rain. It'll take a real driver
