OK.. so i have a 2003 A6 3.0 with 45k miles on it.. and yes of course the PRND display is flashing and the TCU needs to be replaced.. thank god, i have a warranty so it is completely covered. However, is there any chance that the tranny has sustained any damage due to the tcu being faulty.. i mean i have felt some slipping between gears during acceleration, as well as some severe "bucking" when in reverse..i would hate to have to replace the tranny right after i get a new tcu.. also is there a good chance that the tcu will crap out again on me?
