Hello,
I've a A6 saloon from 2002. I replace one brake light. The warning in the dashboard didn't go out. At night with the lights on, I realised that the third brake light is working also as a normal light, like the two others, and as a brake light like the others, instead of working only as a break light. Don't know why is this happening. Have I done anything wrong when replacing the normal brake light, or do I have to by a new third brake light or repair it?

Please need help to sort this out.

 

Thanks P. I inspected the two bulbs and one of the brake lights wasn't the correct tye and pin offset.
