Hi!
Got diag cable, VAG gives me this error code on A6 C5:

17967 - Throttle Valve Control part (J338): Fault in basic settings
P1559 - 35-00 - -


Now, the "original" question - how to correct this? As I understand TVC reads accelerator position and passes it's position to AT, so AT could correctly adjust acceleration etc... Actually my automatic gearbox could be more precise, there is a gap in acceleration at some point.

you can easily get this fixed at an augi dealer for $95.00. you will not be able to fix this problem without the proper machine i believe only audi has. the car doesnt idle correct right? and it doesnt have the regular power?
