Lightbulb Timing Belt Replacement Kits and Instructons 2.8L 30V Engines, Parts, Sites, Location

Okay, I've been searching this forum for the past few days and haven't been able to find very much info as far as prices, locations, and brands.

So I decided to do some looking and start a thread for me as well as any one who will be searching AF in the future, so please check out the info, add where necessary. Give examples of your experiences of working on your timing belt/thermostat/waterpump. Also I was wondering how I could post this in the A4 forum or just make sure every one can view it.

This one is for 3.0L engines but is similar to the 2.8,
http://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng110.shtml

This one was done done specifically on a 2.8L engine

I'd appreciate if someone could add a list of literature that would help people do the job.

Please add to this thread to help me and any one who comes later!

Either you "copy" and "paste" it there, or you can just post an active link.

If you want to go the first route, click on the "quote" button below each post. When the post comes up, highlight everything, "copy", and then go to the A4 forum and "paste" it. If it is easier, you can have two windows open at the same time, one with this forum, one with A4 forum...

If you want to go the "active link" way, then copy the address of the thread from the browser, go in the A4 forum and start a thread with the same title (or whatever you choose to do) and post the active link. Use URL brackets as in the following example. Please note that you shouldn't have any spaces inside the bracket/s.

[ url = http: // www. audiforums. com/ forum/ showthread.php? t= 126026] Here you enter the message you want to convey about your active link; something like bla bla bla... and then you close the url bracket [ / url]

This is what it comes up:
