02 Audi a6 2.7t Plenum Drain
If your looking at a 98 - 05 a6 look at the new maint. schedule put out by audi in Aug of 2007. every 40,000 mi the Plenum drain needs to be cleaned out also the sunroof drain. If you don't (like me because I had no idea this was an issue) the battery compartment will fill with water leak into the car and destroy your entire computer system. Audi will not pay for the damages of this or replace anything but the drain itself. The reimbursements are no longer being payed out.

Great info! What about when the oil light goes on and the oil temp rises to 130C. The level is fine as I just serviced the car 2000kms ago. What could be the problem?

First check oil level.
Then use guage to have oil pressure test to decide if it is problem of mechanical (oil pump) or electrical (sending / guage). Sludge can clog the oil pump as well.
