Tranny not shifting out of first
i have a 99 A6 non-quattro, and when I was driving on the highway today it beeped 3-4 times but didn't have a problem getting home once I came home and parked and stepped inside for 30 mins or so I tried to leave but the car wouldn't come out of first gear. By the way it is also the first cool weather of the year too, dont know that would make a difference. please help

Do you have a VAG-COM? Reading the codes is the first place to start. It could be your controller or low fluid level.
