TUNE UP

RE: TUNE UP
At that mileage is a good time....just as a preventative measure.
This past Saturday I spent 8 hours tuning up my wife's Quattro 2.8L with 83k miles. I did the following:
[ul][*]valve cover gaskets[*]spark plugs[*]plug wires[*]breather hose[*]suction pump[*]air filter[*]cabin filter[*]oil change[/ul]
Car runs and idles smoother now. b/t/w, valve cover gaskets had to be replaced because they were leaking but I figured since I'm in there I might as well perform a tune up. Also, if you haven't done your timing belt now would be a great time to have that replaced as well as your water pump and t-stat.

RE: TUNE UP
At 75k I would do......
Timing belt & all the little things along with it.
TBB & DV's
cabin filter
oil & filter
Spark plugs
air filter
Coolant flush (part of the TB job)
Changing the all diff fluids, & flushing the trans would not hurt.
